Pretty much every MC, DJ, producer or musician that attended Hamilton High from ’94-’97, Digable Planets (then AND now…), James Brown (R.I.P.), The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye (R.I.P.), Sly & The Family Stone, Michael Jackson, Stanley Clark, Freddie Hubbard (R.I.P.), The Crusaders, CTI Records, Blue Note Records, Stax Records, Isaac Hayes (R.I.P.), Prince up to the O(+> album, Queen, Blondie, Art Of Noise, Nirvana, Fiona Apple, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Wonder Showzen, The Boondocks, early Spike Lee, Quinton Tarantino movies, OLD Kevin Smith movies (everything since Jersey Girl has been doo-doo butter!), High Fidelity, Pootie Tang, American Pimp, the lives and careers of Stan Lathan, Quincy Jones, Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby, Russell Simmons, Oprah (Not so much since the Imus debacle), The Obamas, Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, Dave Chappelle, and basically anyone that’s been able to effectively persevere and navigate through the perils and pitfalls of the industry while maintaining some semblence of a soul.
